Dave Mattes is a native of Berks County, Pennsylvania. He has been in the real estate business since 1995, when he began his career at a local real estate firm in Sinking Spring. He then became a Buyer Specialist with a prominent real estate team at RE/MAX. Working as a Realtor for 23+ years, as well as 5 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer, he has helped a tremendous number of individuals and families buy and sell properties of all types.
Along with his wife, Mel, he now runs The Dave Mattes Team at RE/MAX of Reading, which consists of 5 agents and 2 assistants. The team consistently helps 130+ families and individuals on a yearly basis with their real estate needs.
In addition to being a Realtor, Dave is a past President of the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors (2015), Leadership Berks Grad (2010), and is very focused on volunteering and giving back to the community. Dave also holds his CRS, SRES, ABR & SRS designations, and At Home With Diversity Certification.
