Douglas retired after 20 years of service in the military and obtained his real estate license in 1996. He earned both his GRI and CRS designations and received his broker's license in 2000. He was inducted into the Re/Max International Chairman's Club in 2004 and was honored for lifetime achievement in 2008. Re/Max Titan Club 2017, 2018, 2019. Re/Max Diamond Club in 2020.
