Anniston had 29 new listings and 33 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 85—down 9.57% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.
Of those 85 active listings, 23.53% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Anniston grew 10.85% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $229,900. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year. In April 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 54 days, compared to 49 days in April 2024.
