About
Growing up on a farm in southwestern Ontario, I inherited my father's passion for rocks, trees, and water. When I turned 14, my parents and I moved to the North Shore of Lake Huron, where I spent many hours exploring the outdoors, boating, and camping. I fell in love with the beauty of the north and the peace it offered. After marrying my wonderful wife, Elsie, we settled in Carling Township, just north of Parry Sound. In 2024, we moved to Seguin Township to be closer to our church and the school our children attend. We've been blessed with three amazing children, Jordan, Joyce, and James, and we treasure our time together as a family, whether we're out on a boat ride, hiking trails, or simply enjoying the breathtaking surroundings. I enjoy giving back to my community in various ways. Most winters, my family and I volunteer with Mennonite Disaster Service to rebuild homes across Canada and the U.S. that have been devastated by natural disasters such as forest fires and floods.
