Louis-Philippe made the whole experience relatively easy despite this being our first purchase. It helped relieve some of the stress associated with purchasing a home by making the experience enjoyable. Being bilingual and finding other necessary french services was much appreciated.

I found Louis-Philippe Pidgeon and Jeremy Spilkin to be especially well-suited for my needs because all three of us have previously served in the Canadian Armed Forces. In knowing about their military backgrounds, it was easy for me to explain the specific needs and challenges I face as an injured veteran, trusting that they would incorporate this information into everything they did for me, from identifying potential properties for purchase to making the final decision.

I completed a survey after moving into my new house to indicate what I thought of the service Louis-Philippe and his colleagues provided me. After checking "excellent" for every single item of the survey, I deemed it necessary to leave a remark saying that I had not merely selected the most positive response to every question for the sake of being nice but because I genuinely felt that I had received excellent service. Had I been disappointed in any way, I would be happy to talk about it publicly but, thankfully, that wasn't my experience.

I was highly satisfied by the way Louis-Philippe handled every element of the purchase of my new home, from the time we spent visiting houses to making an offer, finalizing the purchase of my new property, and doing multiple follow-ups after I moved in to make sure I had a chance to provide him feedback.

Louis-Philippe took many steps, almost exclusively by his own initiative, to make sure that I my experience was as pleasant and easy as possible. I was dealing with an immense amount of anxiety at the time when I was looking for a new house and I can't express how thankful I am to Louis-Philippe for making this purchasing process as painless as it was.

My first contact at Engel & Volkers - Ottawa Central was with Jeremy Spilkin and within a few minutes of speaking with him on the phone, I was convinced me that he and his colleagues would be the right people to help me find and buy my next house. I conducted my house-hunting trip in the Ottawa area with Louis-Philippe Pidgeon because our schedules were better aligned than Jeremy's and as a result, I got to know him better than Jeremy. That being said, I tend to judge a person by the company they keep and the qualities Louis-Philippe demonstrated definitely convinced me that Jeremy must be an all-around competent professional and decent person.

I genuinely have no criticism to offer about my experience with Louis-Philippe, his colleagues, or any of the other professionals he recommended me in the course of choosing my new house, inspecting it, and closing the purchase.
