June’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $355,000—up 89.33% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $409,700 in Alaska for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $410,300 in July.

Southeast Fairbanks Census Area had 19 new listings and 7 listings that went under contract in June, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 47—up 23.68% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in July.

Of those 47 active listings, 27.66% reduced their price in the month of June.
