“Elise was super intentional with her choices and really listened to what we were looking for. As a first time home buyer she made it super enjoyable and very easy. She was amazing to work with and never failed to answer any questions I had (even the silly ones) again I was completely clueless and she really helped my dream home become a reality! 100/10 recommend!!”

Market gauge is calculated using active listings and pending sales from the most recently available reporting period (Jul 2026).
Clay County home prices in July 2026 were lower than a year ago, while the state as a whole saw gains. The typical home value here is down about 6 percent year over year, compared with Arkansas’ statewide median price rising more than 5 percent. Asking prices are feeling even more pressure, with the median list price off roughly 24 percent from last July.
Looking at the latest month, July’s typical home value was about $139,000, with a median list price near $119,000. Homes are taking longer to sell than a year ago, with the median days on market now around 90 days and up sharply from last summer.
Inventory is relatively steady, with 115 active listings, slightly below last year, and about 5.8 months of supply, which still leans toward a buyer’s market. Sales activity shows mixed signals, as homes sold ticked up from June while pending sales are down nearly 30 percent from a year earlier. Sellers are also conceding more on price, with the average sale-to-list ratio near 92 percent and no recent sales closing above list price. With these shifting conditions affecting both pricing and timing, buyers and sellers in Clay County can benefit from Agent Pronto’s help in finding a local agent who understands this market.

“I explained what I needed and Hervey Homes took me to my first showing. It WAS PERFECT! We put in an offer but they continued to show me homes. I asked lots of questions and they answered them all quickly. They negotiated while showing other properties an ultimately was able to get the first home that I had already fell in love with. So thankful for Hervey Homes. Alexis and Yolanda are the best.”

“Agent Pronto paired us with the best realtor. My husband and I move out of state frequently because of our careers. It is hard to find a realtor you trust when you are out of state. Agent Pronto was great. We love our realtor, Charles, and he found the perfect house for us!”
“I was amazed you found an agent to handle the sale of my property mere hours after I contacted you very late in the evening. I was contacted by Kim first thing the following morning & within a week to 10 days, we had an offer. I didn't even think we'd be able to sell but Kim was positive & encouraging. I couldn't have done this without her.”
