Adam Helgeson

In 2020 I begin an unusual property search. I/we were looking for a house in Crookston that I would eventually sell to my grandson. Adam Helgeson was the realtor with whom we dealt. This was not our first experience with Adam as he had helped my granddaughter and her fiancee find their first home, also in Crookston. During that scenario I accompanied the couple as Adam took them to several different homes in their price range. He was always so willing to answer questions, plan another showing of a different home if the one they were looking at just wasn't "the right fit,"( and he was charming and friendly through the entire ordeal!!) Our experience with Adam during round#2 while searching for the right home for my grandson was equally satisfying. Adam made several trips from Grand Forks to Crookston to show us different homes. Recently my wife and I were working on purchasing our first home together, and for the last year or so have been looking at local options. We were lucky enough to get an opportunity to purchase a home through a closed sale. Adam Helgeson was chosen as the agent to represent both the seller and the buyer. I was recommended to consult with Adam from my father, who was an acquaintance of Adam's from the past. Adam proved himself to be incredibly understanding and knowledgeable of this process and understanding of my inexperience. He was especially prompt in his communication, and returning any messages or phone calls. Through the course of this whole process, the one bright light in the frustrating, difficult, new process was Adam and by proxy his team and coworkers. I would gladly recommend Adam's services to anyone needing a guide through the crazy real estate world be it friend, family, or strangers.

Adam Helgeson was great to work with. He explained the selling process, gave a very professional presentation on what we could expect from him as our selling agent. There were no surprises. His marketing of the property was more than we could have hoped for and I do believe that was instrumental in getting the property sold. Communication was excellent and he is very responsive to calls, emails and texts. We would not hesitate calling on him in the future to handle our real estate needs.

I can't imagine the process possibly going any smoother than it did. I had the pleasure of working with Adam Hegleson, who went above and beyond selling not only my home, but my furniture as well. Nearly the entire process was handled while I was overseas, which was extremely convenient too. Adam Helgeson at Berkshire Hathaway did a superb job of helping us purchase our property. I was particularly thankful for the knowledge he had regarding what a proper structure should look like, and his willingness to share that knowledge with us. He caught many things that my wife and I had simply overlooked. He remained constantly accessible to us and was extremely flexible in making time to show us homes. Overall, he made purchasing our property a quick, easy, and painless experience. We are now looking to acquire a second property and are using Adam again. We most certainly recommend him.
