Born and raised in Los Angeles, I moved to Honolulu for college and lived there for 11 years. He graduated from the University of Hawaii with a B.A. degree in Japanese Literature and Language.

Living in NYC the last few years I have experienced vibrant NYC life in various boroughs and communities including Astoria, Queens, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Stuy-town/the Lower East Side, Hamilton Heights, and currently in . I speaks Japanese, love visiting museums and art galleries, trying new restaurants and experimenting with new recipes at home.
