The typical home value in Mississippi County is projected to be $78,300 for the month of November. October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $130,000—down 25.69% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $271,700 in Arkansas for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $274,250 in November.
Mississippi County had 40 new listings and 34 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 132—down 7.69% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.
Of those 132 active listings, 18.18% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in Mississippi County fell 50.71% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $89,950. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose sharply year-over-year. In October 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 58 days, compared to 31 days in October 2024. However, in recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be falling. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this November.
