New listings have jumped even faster, rising about 36 percent from a year ago, giving buyers more options than they had last fall. Pricing has been relatively steady despite these shifts. The typical home value is up just over 1 percent from a year ago, and the median list price has inched up at a similar pace, suggesting only modest upward pressure on prices.
Days on market have held close to last year at around 39 days, indicating that homes are still moving at a moderate speed. Months of supply has more than doubled year over year to 3.7 months, putting Bullitt County in a neutral market, and roughly in line with Kentucky overall at 3.9 months. Only about 17 percent of homes are selling above list price and the average sale-to-list ratio sits just under 99 percent, reflecting limited bidding wars.
