October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $280,000—down 18.82% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $201,500 in Cleveland Heights for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $197,250 in November.

Shaker Lakes had 15 new listings and 15 listings that went under contract in October, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 9—up 12.5% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in November.

The median listing price for homes in Shaker Lakes grew 5.56% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $285,000. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to grow.
