September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $113,000—down 5.83% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $217,500 in Cuyahoga County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $209,990 in October.
East Cleveland had 11 new listings and 13 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 40—down 18.37% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.

The median listing price for homes in East Cleveland grew 4.76% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $110,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
