October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $590,000—up 4.42% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $670,000 in Portsmouth for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $652,500 in November.
Downtown Portsmouth had 12 new listings and 8 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 16—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.
