For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $661,140 in Bellingham for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $681,070 in May.

South Hill had 16 new listings and 12 listings that went under contract in April, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 13—up 8.33% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in May.

The median listing price for homes in South Hill fell 11.51% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $1,057,500. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
