After having lived in Northern Virginia for over 25 years, I needed to move under fairly emotional and difficult circumstances. I chose Billings because it was close to our family's cabin, but I didn't know much more about the city except that it had a Target. When I was referred to Carly Macnaughton, she began the conversation by asking very pointed about what was important to me. I her questions were geared less towards the 'house' but more about my lifestyle and the needs I had as a future Billings resident. When I was in Billings, Carly didn't show me every property available in my price range; she showed me a couple of places that fit "me". It wasn't about "making a sale"; it was about finding me a home. Needless to say, she found the perfect house. When it came time to make an offer, she encouraged me to write a letter telling the seller why the house was a good fit. The whole experience felt very personal...far from the "business" transaction that it technically is. Thanks to Carly, I am living in place that truly feels like home.
