Dan Petersen

Dan has claimed Atlanta as his home since moving from Omaha, Nebraska, in 1993. He received his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.

In the early 2000s, Dan decided to leave the corporate world to start a family-run business with his wife, Jill. This combination has proven to be very fulfilling, as both were raised in families who owned and operated their own businesses. Having two people with unique strengths, yet the same goal, has proven to be quite a success.

Since incorporating Petersen Partners, Dan has continued to climb to the top and expand their business. Ranked in the top ¼ of 1% with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices nationally, his team strives to make transactions smooth for their clients. Other achievements include:

Dan is an active member of his Cobb County community, where he and Jill live with their two sons. He is involved in Smyrna Little League and the wrestling community at Whitefield Academy in Mableton. Dan has coached varsity wrestling since 2004, training several state qualifiers and state placers.
