Marla is a native of Lake Charles, with a BS degree in Marketing/ Management from McNeese State University. As a resident of the Moss Bluff community for over 20 years, she is very familiar with Lake Charles and its surrounding areas. Her career began as a marketing support representative with Lanier Worldwide, a Fortune 500 Company. During that 5 year span, Marla was recognized for her dedication to customer service which included always going that “extra mile”. She later switched gears to become an elementary school teacher and was nominated as "Teacher of the Year" twice. After 26 years of teaching, it was time for a change and that brought her to real estate. Marla looks forward to the opportunity of helping her clients navigate their way to home ownership.
