I moved from Maui to Oahu in 2016 and looked for property to buy in Honolulu for over a year. I recently purchased my third property, but this was my first in Hawaii. The Hawaiian market is very unique, having a great realtor vs. an okay one can save you time and money. Micah helped me develop a strategy for purchasing my property in downtown Waikiki from start to finish. I found him on line before I moved to the Oahu. He is a great listener and always provided the right amount of feedback without being pushy. I told him that I needed to find a property and close before I started working (60 days). I felt well informed about the homes in my price range when I arrived on island. The day after I arrived Micah picked be up from my hotel and drove me to all of our showings. I had multiple people mention that they were impressed with the level of service that I received. A lot of realtors will not accompany you let alone drive you to showings on island. Parking in Waikiki is limited and can be expensive; this is just one of examples of the high quality service he provided me.

I met Micah surfing at White Plains in Ewa. We got talking in the lineup. When i found out he was a realtor, I got his number. We had a studio we needed to sell to move back to Hawaii. He not only cleaned it up, he sold it within a month. We got a great price. Micah really knows the market in Hawaii. He is not just my realtor, he is a good friend. Micah was extremely patient with us and guided us through the entire process, helping us to understand what neighborhoods were realistic for us, and at what price points. Though it took us some time to finally find the perfect house, we were fully prepared and made an offer on the house of our dreams on the day it came to market. We beat out over 10+ offers, and I'm thankful I had Micah on my team to make it happen! His preparedness and creativity were the main reasons we ended up with the house. The escrow process went smoothly and as a first time home buyer with no experience, I was impressed with the how easy Micah made it all seem. We closed, and I couldn't be happier.
