Originally from Los Angeles, Neil worked for over a decade in international education, has traveled to over 35 countries, and lived in China for over six years. In 2016, Neil moved to Montana to earn an M.Ed in International Educational Leadership. His knowledge and experience, coupled with his undergraduate degree in communication, have provided him with valuable skills that he uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating homebuyers and sellers, and effectively marketing listings.

Neil currently resides in Billings, Montana, with his wife, Lihua (Emily) Chen-Beyer, and their two young children, Braston and Liona. He enjoys spending time taking advantage of Montana's amazing environment—riding his mountain bike, snowboarding, and backpacking. Neil leads a neighborhood task force, is on the board of the United Campus Ministry at MSU Billings, is a member of the West End Billings Exchange Club, and donates 10% of his commission on every transaction to university scholarships.
