Rod Yarger was born and raised in Dayton Ohio. He attended Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1979. From there, he attended Washington University in St. Louis where he received a Master of Business Administration in 1981.
Upon completing his formal education, Rod returned to Dayton where he was employed as part of the executive management team for a local industrial distribution company.
In 1998, Rod put together two syndicates of investors to build, operate and manage a facility and service company as part of that development. Rod was recognized as a Finalist for the Enterprise Spirit Award by a local chamber of commerce in Dayton and a Finalist for Ernest & Young‘s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001.
In mid-2011, Rod was invited to become a principal in a private equity fund.
In recent years, Rod has remained active as a real estate investor, real estate agent, speaker, and trainer.
