For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $700,000 in Washington for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $696,000 in July.

Washington Heights Historic District had 25 new listings and 18 listings that went under contract in June, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 21—down 12.5% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in July.

The median listing price for homes in Washington Heights Historic District fell 36.93% from May to June, bringing the current median listing price to $469,900. Based on projected data for July, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
