May’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $449,000—up 1.01% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $355,000 in Bay County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $355,000 in June.
Lower Grand Lagoon had 45 new listings and 37 listings that went under contract in May, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 295—down 0.34% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in June.
Of those 295 active listings, 22.03% reduced their price in the month of May. The median listing price for homes in Lower Grand Lagoon grew 3.49% from April to May, bringing the current median listing price to $475,000. Based on projected data for June, listing prices may continue to grow.
