Information and statistics on the latest trends in the Florida real estate market, updated for December 2025. *
The typical home value in Florida is projected to be $403,800 for the month of December. November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the state to be $405,400—down 1.46% over the previous 12 months.
Florida had 35,458 new listings and 29,618 listings that went under contract in November, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 164,209—down 3.2% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in December.
Of those 164,209 active listings, 23.4% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Florida grew 1.94% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $451,000. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year. In November 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 80 days, compared to 88 days in November 2024. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be steady. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this December.
