They stated a personal interest in listing our ranch house in an upscale neighborhood of mostly 2 story homes. They were spot on in saying the buyer will be out there, not every buyer but one uniquely suited for a ranch home. We discussed the realtor fee and he replied he would be flexible if needed. There was a little price negotiating and a couple of questionable repairs requested. He stepped up and participated with his fee reduction. The Realtor experience was friendly and very professsional. We whole heartedly recommend Terry and Courtney.”

September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $238,490—down 17.19% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $287,000 in Carroll County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $288,650 in October.
Temple had 14 new listings and 13 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 49—down 10.91% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 49 active listings, 40.82% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Temple fell 2.75% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $267,450. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
