For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $306,200 in Kansas for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $314,900 in June.

Pottawatomie County had 34 new listings and 28 listings that went under contract in May, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 38—up 11.76% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in June.

Of those 38 active listings, 34.21% reduced their price in the month of May. The median listing price for homes in Pottawatomie County fell 13.56% from April to May, bringing the current median listing price to $347,450. Based on projected data for June, listing prices may continue to fall.
