The typical home value in Larue County is projected to be $219,000 for the month of April. March’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $216,000—down 9.43% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $264,600 in Kentucky for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $265,200 in April.

Larue County had 21 new listings and 18 listings that went under contract in March, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 26—down 7.14% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in April.

Of those 26 active listings, 42.31% reduced their price in the month of March. The median listing price for homes in Larue County fell 10.66% from February to March, bringing the current median listing price to $289,900. Based on projected data for April, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell sharply year-over-year. In March 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 41 days, compared to 61 days in March 2024. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be decreasing. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this April.
