February’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $298,630—up 14.86% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $373,000 in Burlington County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $367,000 in March.
Burlington had 11 new listings and 13 listings that went under contract in February, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 46—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in March.
Of those 46 active listings, 26.09% reduced their price in the month of February. The median listing price for homes in Burlington fell 1.67% from January to February, bringing the current median listing price to $295,000. Based on projected data for March, listing prices may continue to fall.
