Lansing’s rolling three-month snapshot through May 2026 shows supply building while actual closings stay limited. Active listings are up to 21, yet only 5 homes sold in this period and 12 went under contract. Months of supply has expanded to about 5.1 months, a sharp year-over-year jump that points to more options for shoppers than a year ago.

At the same time, new listings over the past three months are down around 10 percent from a year earlier, suggesting owners are still somewhat cautious about listing.
