November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $109,750—up 37.19% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $252,500 in Oklahoma for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $250,450 in December.

Hughes County had 12 new listings and 12 listings that went under contract in November, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 37—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in December.

Of those 37 active listings, 10.81% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Hughes County grew 35.96% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $155,000. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.
