July’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $252,000—down 20.63% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $518,800 in Oregon for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $512,950 in August.
Morrow County had 9 new listings and 5 listings that went under contract in July, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 30—up 3.45% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in August.
Of those 30 active listings, 33.33% reduced their price in the month of July. The median listing price for homes in Morrow County fell 2.25% from June to July, bringing the current median listing price to $282,500. Based on projected data for August, listing prices may continue to fall.
