Inventory and contract activity in Lewis County point to a slower, buyer-leaning market. Active listings in May edged up nearly 8 percent from a year ago and months of supply sits at 7.8, well above Tennessee’s 5.1 months, while homes sold have dropped more than 30 percent year over year.

Median days on market reached 178 in May, surging from much lower levels a year ago, even as new listings and pending sales both fell more than 20 percent year over year, signaling fewer fresh options and slower deal flow overall.
