I served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, starting as a mechanic on F-111s at RAF Lakenheath in England. I then cross-trained into operations (Command Post) and spent my last 16 years in numerous assignments and various positions within this career field around the world, including Texas, The Netherlands, England, North Carolina, Mississippi, Turkey, and Guam. I retired and moved my family back to Colorado Springs (where I grew up) in 2005 and began my career in real estate. In early 2012, I started working in Veterans employment with the State of Colorado, where I discovered my true passion. I have since resigned from my state position to focus on rebuilding my real estate career and to have greater flexibility in assisting veterans through my work with the Military Veterans and Spouses Coalition. I sell homes for a living, but my true passion lies in helping my fellow veterans overcome the challenges they face as they transition from military service to the civilian sector.
