I had begun to look for a mountain vacation home in December 2025. I started with a different agent who quickly proved unresponsive and basically useless. I had to find a replacement agent remotely. BOY did I hit the jackpot with David Stephens! He was and is a fantastic resource of information and a complete workhorse when getting a deal done. The seller’s agent in my transaction (I will just say it was a very large R/E firm) was virtually worthless and even a hindrance. David frequently had to go solve some problem they had caused in the closing process. For instance, I flew in for the closing and the seller’s agent had not gotten the deed so that a sale could be recorded, nor even told the seller to order a payoff letter from their mortgage company. David helped courier documents around that the seller’s agent was simply going to mail. He saved me from even greater delays and more closing problems. David also made sure that all the inspectors and surveyors and mortgage people were well cared for, getting them into the house multiple times to keep things moving. I can’t begin to tell you all the problems he solved!
