Originally from Jackson, Ty is also an experienced real estate appraiser. He holds a master’s degree in education from FSU. Elaine moved to Mississippi in 2004, where she served as a professor at Mississippi State for nine years before moving to Jackson where she met Ty. We are also both musicians with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra: Ty on violin and Elaine on bassoon.
