Fred was very engaged at the beginning stage of the process. However, once we decided on a house and put an offer in the communications slowly dropped off such as having the VA appraiser come out on time, which slowed down our closing and caused us additional temporary living costs. He needed to be reminded several times about some very important steps. We asked about providing a rebuttal to VA's appraisal and he said that wasn't for him to do. But coincidentally a day later he provided a rebuttal. He promised to compensate us for the state the house was left in, offering to hire his own workers to paint some of the rooms. That quickly turned into offering monetary compensation around $500 which is clearly not going to cover those costs. He continually said he was only worried about making us happy, but I think he was just happy to get his compensation. He would also never talk directly to my wife when I was there even though she handled most of it and was taking selfies during closing
