Shreveport currently leans toward sellers, with the market gauge indicating a seller’s market even as conditions show signs of easing. Months of supply has moved to 4.3 in this rolling three-month view, and homes are selling at about 96.8% of list price, suggesting buyers have some room to negotiate while sellers still hold an advantage.

Prices have pushed higher over the past year, with the typical home value up about 9.5% year over year in this rolling window. At the same time, active listings have grown roughly 8.7% and new listings are up just over 5%, giving buyers more options than a year ago without tipping the balance away from sellers.

Demand has also strengthened, as homes sold increased more than 15% year over year and pending sales jumped about 24% in the rolling three-month period.
