Alex Smallwood

Alex Smallwood is a born and raised Lexingtonian. After graduating from the Spanish Immersion Program at Bryan Station, he attended Hanover College to study Business and Spanish. There, he was a member of the baseball team and Phi Gamma Delta. Alex has held leadership positions and has been involved in volunteering throughout the Bluegrass for over a decade. He currently serves on the board for LexGather and as a Graduate Trustee for the University of Kentucky chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. Alex is passionate about Lexington and the Bluegrass region because both sets of his grandparents moved here for the opportunity to provide a better life for their families. By being in tune with the past, present, and future plans for the city, he can provide the expertise needed for a variety of demographics.
