Maria was very professional from the first day I met with her. She handled everything very well from showing me homes, negotiating, keeping me informed and making sure everyone was working to help me close on my home. I highly recommend Maria to anyone that is looking to buy a home.

I am new to the area and came across CENTURY 21 after searching for highly rated realtors in San Antonio. As this is my first house, rather than call, I decided to go to the office to speak with someone about what to expect. I count myself very lucky that Maria Berumen was available when I arrived at Scott Myers CENTURY 21 office!
Maria was a dream realtor and I was very lucky to find her! She knows the area very well, and used her knowledge to find the types of homes I was looking for within the parameters I specified.
Maria was my diligent advocate throughout the process: she advised me on negotiations; she was with me during inspections and asked questions I didn't know to ask; she was in constant communication with me regarding timelines; and she was firm and persistent with the seller about our expectations.
I should be clear that I was not an easy client--I did have a few specific parameters but ultimately I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted in my home. Maria showed me countless homes in a little over a month--multiple homes daily. One Saturday we saw 8 homes! She found beautiful homes to show me and also was very quick to schedule viewings for homes that I found on the CENTURY 21 app. Maria always had time for me, always responded immediately to my texts, was always on time to our viewings (more than I can say for myself!), and was a genuine pleasure to work with. It was fun looking at houses with her!

Again, Maria was an absolute dream to work with. This was my first time buying a home and Maria was a true advocate, ensuring that I got what I was looking for, and that I understood everything about buying a home along the way. She was thorough and diligent during the option period and closing process. I was lucky to have her!

I live in La Grange TX and the home at 307 Tammy was for my son. I had not lived in the home so each step of the contract process and inspection revealed problems that I was not aware of. Maria Berumen patiently walked me through these issues. She got quotes for repair and gave me guidance on cost of repair vs sale price. She maintained the property and on one occasion checked for problems during an extended winter freeze. She communicated frequently via email/messenger/phone and saved me many trips to the property.
