The first time I bought a home in Shreveport/Bossier City area I searched high and low for someone who could understand me as a human being. I'm a non-binary, alternative, queer individual and I wanted someone who could reflect some, if not all, of those qualities. I was new to the area, I had never lived in the South and I was looking to find someone I could trust and could understand me at my core. Not only did I find that in Melanie, I realized she is an amazing human being, not to mention a killer realtor. So, when I sold my house and was looking to by another one, I immediately turned to Melanie and asked if she would be my realtor for the second time! Now I can confidently say I have the best realtor in town, as well as an amazing friend. She was prompt, always available (like does this woman ever sleep?!?), wicked organized and always very professional. She went above and beyond what I ever expected out of a realtor, not once, but twice, showing her intense dedication and consistency. 10/10 would recommend!

Melanie was amazing throughout the entire process. She was able to answer any questions I had or gave me a specific person that could help me (financing specific questions). Did not try and push the budget that I gave her and only showed me homes that I would be able to comfortably afford. Was constantly researching comparable homes to make sure offers were fair for both parties. She’s the perfect balance of friendly, professional and treats you like family. Will definitely be referring her to friends and using her again in the future.

Our previous experience with relators was mediocre at best. When we started the search for a Relator to help us sell our home, I wasn’t looking forward to it. I started by asking for recommendations from family and friends. One of those landed us on the Century 21 site and I started looking for the agent that was recommended. In doing so I came across Melanie’s profile. After reading the details, my gut told me that Melanie was who we needed. I’m so glad we did! Melanie made me feel comfortable with the whole process from start to finish. She understood everything we needed and helped us sell our house once we moved out of state! She helped handle so much for us since we weren't able to physically be there. She contacted any contractors necessary for us and made sure the repairs were handled. Everything was pretty easy with Melanie and she kept us informed every step of the way. If I still lived in Louisiana, there is no other Relator I’d want to work with except for Melanie.
