April’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $1,855,500—up 0.3% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $1,325,000 in Huntington Beach for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $1,265,130 in May.

Downtown Huntington Beach had 38 new listings and 29 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 25—down 10.71% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.

The median listing price for homes in Downtown Huntington Beach grew 3.63% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $2,041,500. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to grow.
