Hancock County currently sits in a neutral market, with conditions not clearly favoring buyers or sellers. Months of supply has risen to 8.8, signaling more inventory relative to recent demand. At the same time, homes are still closing at an average of about 97 percent of list price, reflecting steady buyer interest.
Home values and asking prices have both moved higher over the past year, even as activity has shifted. The typical home value is up more than 18 percent year over year, while the median list price has climbed nearly 29 percent.
