The typical home value in Elko County is projected to be $385,180 for the month of March. February’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $390,950—up 2.88% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $461,100 in Nevada for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $465,900 in March.
Elko County had 51 new listings and 46 listings that went under contract in February, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 119—up 1.71% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in March.
Of those 119 active listings, 17.65% reduced their price in the month of February. The median listing price for homes in Elko County grew 9.37% from January to February, bringing the current median listing price to $432,000. Based on projected data for March, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose sharply year-over-year. In February 2026, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 72 days, compared to 63 days in February 2025. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be increasing. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this March.
