For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $622,500 in Paterson for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $648,580 in November.
Hillcrest had 17 new listings and 14 listings that went under contract in October, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 18—up 20.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in November.
The median listing price for homes in Hillcrest fell 0.0% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $599,000. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
