Year over year, Eddy County’s home values have moved higher, with the typical home value up about 5 percent and the median list price rising roughly 10 percent. Homes sold are also up more than 12 percent from a year ago, pointing to stronger closing activity. At the same time, months of supply is down about 15 percent over the year, reinforcing its current status as a seller’s market.

Compared with New Mexico overall, Eddy County has lower prices and less inventory relative to demand, reflecting a tighter local market than the state’s 3.8 months of supply.
