Greenville’s rolling three-month data through May 2026 points to cooling demand compared with a year ago. Homes sold are down more than 30 percent year over year, and pending sales have fallen at a similar pace. Inventory has tightened, with active listings declining over 20 percent from last year even as months of supply has risen nearly 40 percent.
