Compared with Ohio overall, Holmes County’s typical home value is slightly below the state median, while its supply is a bit leaner than the statewide 2.8 months, supporting its classification as a seller’s market. Even so, an average sale-to-list ratio just under 98 percent and roughly 38 percent of homes selling above asking illustrate that pricing strategy still matters on both sides of the table.
