September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $118,000—down 9.23% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $252,900 in Oklahoma for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $252,450 in October.
Washita County had 10 new listings and 11 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 55—down 8.33% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 55 active listings, 27.27% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Washita County grew 2.04% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $122,700. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
