Learn more about what Easton has to offer.

Easton offers residents a thriving, walkable downtown with shops and dining, rich arts and cultural events, scenic parks and riverfront trails, and a strong sense of community with easy access to schools and local employment.

Easton sits at the confluence of two rivers and anchors the eastern edge of the Lehigh Valley with a lively downtown and historic architecture. Commuters appreciate quick connections to Allentown, Bethlehem, and the rest of Northampton County, as well as a hop across the bridge to Phillipsburg. The City of Easton invests in parks, riverfront trails, and neighborhood services that make day-to-day life convenient and community-oriented.

Weekends here practically plan themselves: kids light up at the hands-on Crayola Experience, live shows pack the beautifully restored State Theatre Center for the Arts, and walkers, runners, and art lovers share the scenic Karl Stirner Arts Trail. Foodies split time between the year-round Easton Public Market and America’s longest-running open-air Easton Farmers’ Market, both fueling a robust dining scene.

Education stands out, from strong neighborhood schools in the Easton Area School District to the nationally regarded Lafayette College on College Hill, which brings lectures and galleries to town. Housing ranges from brick rowhomes downtown to leafy streets above the river, with options for first-time buyers and move-up owners alike.
