January’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $269,000—up 46.99% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $237,800 in West Virginia for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $234,700 in February.
Randolph County had 10 new listings and 12 listings that went under contract in January, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 70—down 2.78% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in February.
Of those 70 active listings, 24.29% reduced their price in the month of January. The median listing price for homes in Randolph County grew 40.27% from December to January, bringing the current median listing price to $259,500. Based on projected data for February, listing prices may continue to grow.

In January 2026, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 208 days, compared to 291 days in January 2025.
